Q.Do I need to send the paper token if I have returned the EPT token to the spine?

We only require the paper token if the patient is exempt other than age. This is to submit to the NHSBSA for audit purposes. The remainder you can destroy confidentially in your store.

Q.Why do you require the EPT token to be returned to the spine at point of ordering?

NWOS will retrieve the token from the spine and store for 10 working days (or longer if you communicate the requirement to us) before claiming. By returning at point of order this prevents accidental dispensing/ claiming in error by yourselves or any other store.

Q.Have NWOS received my Prescription(s)/ Token(s) yet?

A statement is provided at the beginning of each month listing all the remaining outstanding prescriptions/ tokens. Please allow 10 working days for NWOS to process and claim your tokens and 5 working days to process your prescriptions, from date of dispatch.

Q.Will my NWOS delivery arrive in the morning?

NWOS deliveries are scheduled to arrive the next working day from order (day plus 1 for customised items) between 09:00 and 17:00.
